Notes |
- The Limerick Chronicle reported an incident in their 1829 Feb 21 issue where the Rev. W.C. Armstrong the rector of Moydow had fallen off his horse when it stumbled downhill. He had injured his shoulder but was making a fine recovery.
According to the 'Ecclesiastical Gaxette of 20 Feb 1871, Armsrong had been the rector of Moydow for the prior 45 years. This would have put him having taken over the position in 1826.
